Aaron Dumas
Growing up in the hills of Kingston, Jamaica Aaron’s main wish was to study medicine and law and to never ever see snow. Fearing falling into a rut in his life’s path Aaron left Jamaica to see what America had to offer and has seized the opportunities it has provided him.
A proud Zoology (B.S.) degree holding graduate of The University of Texas at Austin, Aaron fondly remembers Matthew McConaughey as a bongo drum player first, actor second. First serving as an aid to Caribbean students in Austin then as a 12 year member of the Earl B. Gilliam organizations Aaron has chosen to complement his legal career with service to the community.
Despite a brief stop in Hollywood to work behind the scenes on television projects Aaron’s main passion has been corporate litigation. He credits his firm Bernstein Litowitz Berger & Grossmann LLP for their multi-year commitment to helping the minority legal community through their time and finances and their willingness to allow him to adapt his time to serve the EBGBF.
Aaron still has not seen snow and refuses to believe persons actually live in snowy regions.
